"1976" is an archival live/studio album by the German band GAM, capturing the sound of one of the most uncompromising and radical projects of the krautrock era.

GAM was formed in the mid-1970s by guitarist Günter Schickert, a pioneer of echo effects (echorette/tape delay) on guitar, along with bassist Axel Struck and drummer Dirk Elvers. The title "1976" refers to the year these unique sessions were recorded.
