Mr. Novembre - Petrichor (2026)

Musician Henry Colquhoun, performing under the moniker Mr. Novembre, shaped his unique creative identity at the intersection of diverse cultures. Born in France, raised in Dubai, holding Celtic roots, and residing in Manchester for the past 11 years, his passion for poetic narrative folk and travel-inspired songwriting was influenced by childhood readings of Tolkien, global family travels, and artists like Glen Hansard and Laura Marling.

Studies in Paris, Bristol, and Granada, alongside an extensive road trip from Australia to India, fully developed his identity as a songwriter and performer. Following his folk rock debut album “Another Chapter” (2022), the experimental French spoken word project “Menestrel Blues” (2023), and a collaborative acoustic EP “Indeed I Did” (2024) with Casey Birks, he crafted his sophomore full-length record “Petrichor.” The new album offers expansive acoustic alt-folk featuring a string quartet and a horn section, translating years of grief and personal reflection into a serene musical statement.
