Paper Mountains - An Olive Tree and a Warm Breeze (2026) [Hi-Res]

New Zealand music producer and sound engineer Toby Lloyd, known for his work with top Kiwi artists as well as sound design for The Hobbit trilogy and Avatar 2, is preparing the launch of his solo soul-folk project, Paper Mountains. The label Tiny Triumph Recordings announced the single “An Olive Tree and a Warm Breeze,” serving as the title track preview for the upcoming debut album.

The song emerged from a deeply personal experience of falling in love, ending Lloyd's years-long songwriting hiatus. Combining soulful vocals, warm acoustic guitars, and rich brass arrangements, the track blends soul, indie folk, and pop aesthetics reminiscent of Otis Redding and Iron & Wine. This release builds on the momentum of the project's debut single, “Come Home Darling,” paving the way for a full-length album exploring love, heartbreak, and emotional renewal.
