Late for the Train - Echoes of the Muse (2026) [Hi-Res]

On August 19, 2026, the folk outfit Late for the Train released their third studio album, Echoes of the Muse. Shifting away from the guest-heavy setup of their previous record, the group returns to the focused live dynamic honed over nine years of touring, centered around acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and upright bass.

The album features ten original tracks co-written by Dave and Laura. Blending intimate personal reflections with subtle mythological motifs, these songs navigate human experience and the search for meaning within a changing natural landscape, striking a balance between elegy and celebration. The original artwork for the release was created by artist Babe Payne, with the album available physically on CD.
