Donatell - Water, CA (2026) [Hi-Res]

The musical project Donatell, created by Los Angeles-based artist and producer Daniel Memmi (Daniel Memmi), is conceptually built on the deconstruction and recycling of obsolete audio technologies, discarded sound archives, and forgotten techniques from the history of pop music (pop). Experimenting with dead-tech aesthetics and sonic detritus of the past, the artist transforms retro elements into uncanny futuristic soundscapes.

The new studio release, "Water, CA," arrives on August 21 via the independent label Smartdumb. The launch is accompanied by a weeklong interactive visual exhibition and live residency at Smartdumb Gallery in Los Angeles, designed to immerse the audience in the project's multimedia universe and visually showcase the aesthetics of pop culture recycling.
