Ivan Della Mea - Ho male all'orologio (1997)

The album represents a mature reflection on the socio-political life of Italy in the late 20th century. Unlike his early minimalist works from the 1960s and 1970s, which featured a single acoustic guitar, this recording features richer instrumental arrangements. Della Mea's longtime collaborators (Paolo Chiarchi, Claudio Cormio) and renowned Italian jazz and folk musicians (Paolino Dla Porta, Riccardo Luppi, Daniele Sepe) contributed to the album. The album combines traditional Italian art song with elements of jazz, traditional brass bands, and Mediterranean folk.
