The vocal and instrumental duo Sounds of April and Randall, comprised of April May Webb and Randall Haywood, is set to release their new album, Dishes Ain't Clean, on August 21, 2026, via Soaring Records. This 13-track collection of original compositions explores the "unpolished" facets of daily life, using the metaphor of dirty dishes to represent social masks and the hidden realities people conceal.

Developed under the mentorship of jazz legend T.S. Monk, the project displays significant genre-blending, where jazz serves as the foundation for elements of R&B, country, gospel, hip-hop, and world-pop. The recording sessions at Mozart Studios in New Jersey combined traditional live-band performance with modern studio production techniques to layer textures. Featuring an expanded ensemble that includes strings and additional guitarists, the album reflects the culmination of the duo's decade-long partnership. The work offers an emotional arc that transitions from restlessness and the pursuit of external validation toward self-acceptance and internal fulfillment.
