Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist Peter Phippen and electronic composer Eric "the" Taylor have released their collaborative studio album TWO BY TWILIGHT, selected as the Album of the Month by Echoes Radio. The project originated following the loss of Taylor's long-time collaborator, woodwind player Sonam Targee, whose artistic spirit Taylor found mirrored in Phippen's playing. Tracking took place in Rochester, New York, with veteran audio engineer Jeff Towne handling mixing duties for the sessions.

The album's sonic architecture contrasts antique traditional wooden and bamboo flutes against dark analog synthesizers, modular textures, and field recordings. The material emerged through organic improvisation over pre-recorded electronic soundscapes. Merging elements of new age, meditative ambient, progressive ambient, and ethno-electronic composition, the record establishes a cinematic, twilight realm bridging ancient acoustic heritage with modern electronic techniques.
