David Caswell - Serendipity (2026) [Hi-Res]

Oxfordshire-based British musician and singer-songwriter David Caswell introduced his full-length album Serendipity. Previously performing with the acoustic soul outfit The Mysteries and releasing his stripped-back solo EP The Skin I'm In in 2023, the artist expanded his sonic range through his new project David Caswell & The Moonseeds. The band features fretless bassist Paul Jacques, drummer Mark Cusack, and multi-instrumentalist Paul Raymond.

The album's sound seamlessly blends soulful pop, funk, jazz, and indie rock, evoking stylistic comparisons to David Bowie, Paul Weller, and The War On Drugs. Recorded at The Brown House Studio under the direction of producer and guitarist Pete Brown, the record also features keyboardist Toby Caswell, saxophonist and vocalist Hannah Bates, and backing vocalist Ava Eales. Led by the opening single Aqualung, the project celebrates fleeting moments, unexpected revelations, and the joy of human connection.
