Unlike their strictly structured albums, this release was born from free, spontaneous jams in the studio. The musicians (Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, and Markus Reuter) abandoned pre-prepared compositions, creating a raw, hypnotic, and dark canvas that demonstrates the members' telepathic synergy, forged by years of collaboration in King Crimson.
