MY FACE IS DANCING - MY FACE IS DANCING (2026) [Hi-Res]

Jazz drummer and improviser Federico Ughi, alongside his sons Alberto Ughi, Martino Ughi, and Benjamin Ughi, presents the debut album of their family collective titled MY FACE IS DANCING, released via the Positive Elevation imprint. The project is constructed from home recordings, conversations, field sounds, and spontaneous improvisational sessions capturing the children's growth over an eight-year period, later edited and structured into studio compositions. Building upon the artist's history with Tobias Wilner's Blue Foundation, the record merges free jazz, experimental hip hop, avant soul, hardcore punk, drone, and experimental electronics with reggae rhythms and spiritual sonic exploration, accompanied by liner notes from multi-instrumentalist Daniel Carter.
