Collage (1974) is a unique and extremely rare rarity from the West German scene of the 1970s, created by the international collective Baba Yaga. Named after a character from Slavic folklore, the project brought together German krautrock musicians, Austrian jazz musicians, and percussionists with Eastern European roots. The album represents a unique attempt to cross avant-garde psychedelia and the dynamics of krautrock with authentic Slavic motifs, acoustic folklore, and fusion improvisations, anticipating the emergence of the "world music" genre.
