Paris-based West African multi-instrumentalist and kora master Kourou Fia Cokora, originally from Guinea, built his creative identity around transforming a speech stutter into a vehicle for musical expression. Communicating with his audience through the strings of the 21-string West African kora harp, the musician demonstrates that the language of rhythm and strings knows no speech impediments or hesitations.

The album's sonic layout centers on a blend of traditional West African roots music, Afro-jazz, and ethno-folk. The interplay of the kora, balafon, and subtle guitar textures forms atmospheric, meditative arrangements backed by expressive lead vocals, turning personal vulnerability into a narrative of resilience and cultural heritage.
