Jenny Frøysa's Artful Ensemble - Pauline Boty: bring her out! (2026) [Hi-Res]

This music is about, and inspired by, the British pop art artist Pauline Boty, who never got her due in the history of art. Boty worked a lot with collage, and the music is composed inspired by this, by collecting references from the last 50 years of popular culture, and using them as a source of inspiration in the composing process. The lyrics reflects upon the structural challenges Boty faced during her lifetime, related to gender discrimination, and draw the line to challenges of today.
