Yomi Ship - Baku (2026) [Hi-Res]

The sophomore studio album Baku by the instrumental trio Yomi Ship, released on September 18, 2026, marks the culmination of a decade-long artistic journey for the Perth-based band. Comprising guitarist Jarred Osborne, bassist Jade Champion, and drummer Nick Osborne, the group crafts an expansive sonic tapestry bridging progressive rock, math rock, psychedelic rock, and art rock with nuanced jazz sensibilities. Recorded in close collaboration with producer Ron Pollard from the project Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, the record achieves a new level of maturity and depth tailored for deep listening. The ten tracks on the release—featuring compositions such as "Knowledge of Everything", "Dream Eater", "Tail of the Angry Goldfish", "Baku's Theme", and "Odyssey"—showcase the band's evolution toward a more sophisticated musical vocabulary. The album's release is accompanied by a major national tour across Australia in October 2026.
