Duckworth & Duprez - Fuerza (2026) [Hi-Res]

British guitar duo Mark Duckworth and Ted Duprez released their studio album Fuerza, summarizing five years of collaboration and over 2,000 hours of live performance. Their shared background in classical guitar developed into complementary artistic styles: Duprez drew on romantic lyricism and the rhythmic drive of progressive rock, while Duckworth focused on Bach's counterpoint, intricate Villa-Lobos structures, and Pat Metheny's improvisational approach.

The interplay of their distinct personalities and shared neurodivergent experiences shaped the duo's non-verbal communication and dialogue-based identity. The album's sonic layout centers on the contrast between Duckworth's acoustic lead guitar and Duprez's nylon-string rhythm work. The arrangements blend elements of Spanish guitar traditions, chamber classical, jazz fusion, and cinematic art rock, resulting in a fluid, improvisational project.
