Strawberry Hands, the musical project created by multi-instrumentalist and producer Jacob Brunner, presents the album A Jazz Blessing for the Animal, scheduled for release on September 18, 2026, via Otherly Love. Recorded over a two-year period across various locations, the material blends home cassette recording aesthetics with high-end analog tape mastering by Fred Kevorkian and mixing by Jeff Zeigler.

The nine-track record operates at the intersection of indie folk, experimental jazz, and ambient. The production features an extensive ensemble of guest musicians, including multi-instrumentalist Karl Blau, along with performers on flute, clarinet, violin, viola, harp, and pedal steel guitar. The sonic architecture weaves together tripled vocal harmonies, found-text elements, cassette playback integration, and transitions from delicate acoustic arrangements to sweeping, liturgical choral passages.
