Various Artists - Bring It On Home (2026)

British music initiative APM curated a compilation album celebrating the contemporary acoustic roots music scene and fingerstyle guitar technique (fingerstyle / fingerpicking). The project brought together nine guitarists hailing from Bristol, Birmingham, York, London, Bromley, Rainham, and Tunbridge Wells.

The recording sessions took place live in the studio without overdubbing across three regional studios. The album's musical palette merges folk, blues, americana, and jazz. Alongside the audio production, the organizers conducted a series of filmed interviews exploring the lineage of UK acoustic music from iconic 1960s folk venues like Bunjies and Les Cousins to the historical field recordings of Alan Lomax. A companion documentary feature film is scheduled for release in the summer.
