Electric Orange - Krautrock from Hell (2009)

Orange Commutation (1996) is one of the most important manifestos of the revival of classic German 1970s Krautrock in the era of digital dominance and 1990s alternative rock. The German collective Electric Orange rejected the trends of their era and fully immersed themselves in an authentic analog aesthetic, using rare vintage instrumentation. The album is a hypnotic, deeply atmospheric immersion into psychedelic cosmism: hypnotic motorik rhythms, protracted spatial jams, and oily keyboard textures are constructed with academic precision and sincere respect for the great legacy of the Kosmische Musik school.
