Adonis Rose - Live at JazzAscona (Live) (2026)

Jazz drummer and New Orleans Jazz Orchestra director Adonis Rose teams up with vocalist Phillip Manuel and his ensemble for the live recording “Live At JazzAscona: The Music of Gregg Hill”, released on Cold Plunge Records.

Captured during performances at the JazzAscona festival in Switzerland, the album features original material composed by Gregg Hill. The repertoire blends traditional New Orleans jazz, vocal jazz, and post-bop elements, backed by an ensemble including trumpeter Ashlin Parker, saxophonists Miles Berry and Rex Gregory, pianist Seth Finch, and bassist Max Moran.
