British-Asian singer, songwriter, podcaster, and writer Parry Ray has been writing poetry and lyrics since the age of six, blending classical vocal training, jazz, blues, pop, and musical theatre elements in her work. Despite her early passion for the performing arts, she initially pursued an academic career path at her parents' request, earning two degrees in physics and working in publishing.

A major turning point came in 2001, when personal challenges and her father's illness prompted her to fully commit to her musical calling. Since then, Parry Ray has established herself as a prominent performing artist, taking the stage at renowned venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Ronnie Scott's. She earned acclaim for her intimate and modern reinterpretations of classic songs in collaboration with producers Andy Wright and James McMillan. Alongside writing a novel reflecting her background as a British-Asian creative and mother, she produces podcasts exploring the creative journey and works on a new original album.
