What Goes Around, Chris Buzzelli's first album for Schoolkids' Records, is a pleasant, smooth jazz album which finds the guitarist creating lush, gentle soundscapes where the mood is more important than the music itself. That's true even on the solo guitar pieces, or his duets with flautist Gene Parker, where bassist Jeff Halsey and drummer George Hindenach sit out. Some listeners may find the record too low-key, but it's gentle and peaceful, perfect as mood music.
