Soulpersona, Bryan Corbett - Aurora (2026)

The musical project of producer Soulpersona and multi-instrumentalist Bryan Corbett releases Aurora, their second collaborative album and a direct follow-up to their debut record Magnetica. Across 11 instrumental tracks, guitarist Terry Lewis of Mamas Gun joins the duo, complementing arrangements of trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone, and flute. The sound fuses smooth soul, vintage rare groove, and dynamic jazz-funk, drawing inspiration from 1970s British library music and classic releases from the CTI jazz label. The balance of laid-back passages, rhythm-driven sections, and darker cinematic moments gives this independently recorded album the atmosphere of a lost retro film soundtrack.
