DARLENE DARLING - California is a State of Mind (2026)

Singer and producer DARLENE DARLING presents her debut 12-track album, California Is a State of Mind. The record explores themes of solitude, nostalgia, and longing, using California as a metaphorical figure in an ongoing emotional dialogue. Musically, the album seamlessly fuses 2000s R&B, classic soul, jazz flourishes, and 1950s retro-pop aesthetics, pairing vintage arrangements with crisp modern production.
