Imperial Teen - All Over You (2026) [Hi-Res]

Imperial Teen — the American band of Roddy Bottum, Will Schwartz, Jone Stebbins, and Lynn Truell — release a new album, All Over You. The record is sharp and urgent: the members live far apart, so they worked in bursts, across several trips and long gaps. They turned their limited time together into an advantage, giving the sound a vivid immediacy.

The lead single, Overdrive, is sleek, titillating, and full of momentum. The title track grew in the studio itself: Stebbins' fuzzed-out bass, Truell's improvised percussion, and a screamed chorus that lands like a punk rallying cry.

Thematically, the album turns to art, capitalism, and the shifting value system of pop. Musically, it blends bubblegum pop hooks, boy-girl vocal harmonies, electro beats, distortion, and power pop. The result feels expansive and hard-won rather than a simple comeback: a reminder of why Imperial Teen have endured for so long.
