Willie Nelson & The Offenders - Tales Out Of Luck (Me And The Drummer) (2001)

13 extraordinary songs, intimate and strongly western flavoured plus lots of CD-Rom features. In this section of the CD you'll find facts of Willie's exceptional life, hear fine words from George Bush, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings about Willie, see excerpts from a video, attend Willie Nelson's legendary 4th of July celebration, watch the Highwaymen perform, listen to Willie explaining Farm Aid and hear Neil Young explain why this isn't really a picnic after all. But it is really the music that counts. Tales Out Of Luck The Drummer And Me is a superb Willie Nelson album in the tradition of 'Tougher Than Leather' and 'Red Headed Stranger', his best albums from a large, versatile and strong oeuvre. Intimate and very personal cowboy songs.
