Melina Paxinos - Muses (2026)

Saxophonist, composer and arranger Melina Paxinos is preparing to release her new album “Muses.” Inspired by surrealism, poetry, creative freedom and iconic cultural figures, it continues the cinematic line of her earlier, acclaimed releases. The music sits at the meeting point of modern jazz, Mediterranean melodies and Greek musical heritage, sounding both intimate and adventurous.

Paxinos’s own language is built on lyrical improvisation, intricate rhythms and expressive storytelling. The album celebrates imagination as a source of artistic expression and leads the listener through richly textured soundscapes full of emotion, elegance and spontaneity. It bridges tradition and innovation and cements her reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary European jazz.
