We are delighted to welcome Exhaust, the trio of Camila Nebbia, Kit Downes, and Andrew Lisle, to Intakt Records! Nebbia, Downes, and Lisle, who have been driving forces on the European scene for years, have dedicated themselves entirely to improvisation in this working band, developing a musical language that has continually refined itself over the years. Exhaust’s already broad sonic spectrum is expanded by Kit Downes, who, for the first time in this lineup, plays organ and cello in addition to piano. With sparkling energy, drive, and a love of experimentation, the trio presents All the Beauties and Disasters, a musical statement that, driven by nuanced interplay and deep mutual trust, sparkles with creativity and intensity.
