Hungary’s first period-instrument chamber orchestra marks this milestone with three works brimming with imagination, elegance and virtuosity: the spirited Sinfonia Concertante in B-flat major, the majestic Horn Concerto No. 1 in D major, and the playful Concerto for Piano and Violin in F major.

Written at different stages of Haydn’s career, these pieces reveal his gift for musical dialogue — giving individual soloists their moment to shine while drawing them into a lively exchange with the orchestra.

Guided by artistic director Zsolt Kalló, Capella Savaria brings its distinctive sound and decades of dedication to historically informed performance to this anniversary release.
