Nat King Cole Trio - The King Cole Trio, Vol. 2 (1946)

King Cole Trio: Vol. 2 is the second album that Nat King Cole (piano, vocals) recorded for Capitol Records, together with guitarist Oscar Moore (electric guitar) and bassist Johnny Miller. Today Cole is remembered above all as a velvety vocalist, but before he concentrated on singing he built a career in jazz. He originated the jazz trio format of piano, guitar and bass, and this album documents that period.
