Dan Rosenboom, Tim Lefebvre, Caleb Dolister - high.low (2026) [Hi-Res]

On February 2, 2026, at The High Low venue in Los Angeles, the trio of trumpeter Dan Rosenboom, bassist Tim Lefebvre, and drummer Caleb Dolister recorded a live collaborative album titled high.low, released on Orenda Records.

The release documentation is presented through a sci-fi concept of futuristic AI archeologists uncovering a 200-year-old archive. The futuristic analysis highlights how the recorded sessions completely defy machine predictability, standard genre boundaries, and algorithmic composition rules, showcasing pure organic human expression and spontaneous interaction.

Structured into phases of improvisational strains (high and low, alongside an expanded lower phase), the album merges processed trumpet textures, heavily manipulated bass lines, and fluid, hard-hitting drum patterns. It stands as an adventurous document of modern electro-acoustic improvisation and avant-garde exploration.
