2013 Canadian Folk Music Awards Winner! With an Irish/Scottish heritage, Kiérah demonstrates her love and mastery of the fiddle. After 14 years of classical training combined with 13 years of learning and performing Celtic fiddle music, Kiérah is a "fiddler extraordinaire". Her playing radiates with the love she has for traditional (and not so traditional) Celtic music - always playing with the clear and precise intonation for which she is known. After spending time in Ireland she was inspired by the music, the musicians, the history and the kindness of the people - much of which is reflected on the album. "Stonemason's Daughter" contains 15 of her original tunes and was named for who she is - the daughter of a stonemason. Kiérah is accompanied by the versatile and innovative Celtic/Jazz guitarist Adam Dobres and multi-talented Adrian Dolan on piano, mandola, mandolin and accordion. Special guests include Daniel Lapp on banjo, Paul O'Brien on bodhran and Ireland's Martin Nolan on low whistle. Produced by Adrian Dolan.
