Alkalino - Federal Reserve Edits (2014)

Portugal's Alkalino is an expert juggler, always keeping his original productions up in the air alongside his edits. Here though he's firmly plumped for the latter, delivering a whopping 11 scalpel jobs for our listening pleasure. As expected the LP spans everything from vintage disco, cosmic funk and house. Highlights include the slinky, spacey arpeggiated pulser "Band Jive", the raw electro-funk stomper "Suspicious Mind" and the Gallic-tinged Euro/Italo disco seducer, "Je Flash".
