Garth Brooks has announced the title of his long awaited new album, along with its release date and the album cover art. His first new music in thirteen long years, Man Against Machine will be released by Pearl/RCA Nashville on November 11th, and will include his current hit single “People Loving People.” The LP’s cover features a rather intimidating image of the country music icon, with his arms crossed, wearing dark sunglasses, a black cowboy hat, and a fitted black t shirt. “Music has always been a reflection of where mankind is at the time,” Brooks said in a press release statement about the album. “For 14 years, I have watched heart and soul, dreams and individualism, fighting for their very existence in a world of increasing technology. This album is a reminder to all those who dream, work, and fight for what they believe; do not give up your vision.”

Man Against Machine is currently available for fans to pre-order via Brooks’ new digital music outlet, GhostTunes and on the singer’s website. Also available for purchase is a mega bundle including a new 25th Anniversary Edition of his double live set featuring thirty songs with thirty videos, digitally updated versions of all eight of Brooks’ studio albums, an instant gratification download of the hit single “People Loving People,” and a bonus track titled “Send ‘Em on Down the Road.” This bundling is one technique GhostTunes especially utilizes. “In my fourteen years on the sideline, I didn’t find an e-commerce site that to me was selling [digital music] the way they should,” Brooks originally said at a press conference when he first announced GhostTunes. “I wanted a place that just sold entertainment, that took care of the customer, and the price was flexible so the customer could get a break. And you could sell any way the artist wanted it sold.”

Tickets for Brooks’ ten upcoming shows in Minneapolis (which run from November 6th through 15th) are currently on sale (which started Friday, October 3rd), but may not be for long, as over 153,000 thousand were sold in only a few hours. Right now, the country superstar is on a world comeback tour with his wife and fellow country singer star Trisha Yearwood, announcing one city on the tour at a time. Yearwood herself is releasing a new album, entitled Prizefighter: Hit After Hit on November 17th, which is available for pre-order on GhostTunes.
