Duo Araujo Morello - Duo Araujo Morello (Live) (2015)

Renowned musicians as soloists, the Argentinean duo of Fernanda Araujo (piano) and Jose Morello (cello) have been playing together since 2008. Sonatas for cello and piano by Edvard Grieg and Dmitri Shostakovich, two major works of the chamber music repertoire that exhibit vastly contrasting aesthetic and spirits, highlight their first duo album. Owners of an intense style and a repertoire that includes, besides the above, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms and Debussy, they are also dedicated performers of Russian composers including Rachmaninov, Prokofiev and Schnittke.
