It’s been a while coming but finally Luxembourg’s indie folk-pop band, Seed to Tree are proud to release their new album “Wandering” during a big night of celebration at the Club of the Rockhal on Saturday March 14. They’ll be performing complete with a brass and strings section for several songs and will be supported by one of Luxembourg’s best known songwriters, Daniel Balthasar and his band, the highly entertaining German acoustic singer-songwriter duo Bender & Schillinger, and special acoustic appearances by IRINA.

With a sound that has been compared to an array of artists, from Damien Rice to Of Monsters and Men and even Mumford and Sons, the initial trio Seed to Tree have gone from strength to strength and grown into the 5-piece group of today.

Their first EP in 2012 was a national success with four of the five tracks released as singles all proving hits on national radio. In fact “Broken Down” their most well-known hit, spent an impressive 16 weeks in the charts! Since then the band have played some impressive concerts in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, supporting the likes of Jacco Gardner and Kodaline as well as performing at major festivals including the main stage of Rock-A-Field and Jardin du Michel Festival.

With "Wandering", Seed to Tree take their music further in a style that could be construed to be more mature and deeper than their first EP. Some of the songs on the new 10-track album venture into a more indie world, others more folky yet all are still clearly recognisable as Seed to Tree of the past.

Through the use of rich sweeping melodic tunes, the band have managed to produce an album of catchy, thought-provoking songs with several of the tracks spread with layers of brass and strings to produce wide and epic tunes slotting seamlessly into Seed to Tree's music.
