Italian-born, Berlin-based producer Daniele Antezza has a solo album coming by way of a new alias, Inner8.
Antezza is best known alongside Giovanni Conti as Dadub, a collaboration that's been a key part of Lucy's Stroboscopic Artefacts crew. Aside from their own output of heavy, dubby, experimentally-inclined techno (highlighted by the 2013 album You Are Eternity), the duo run the Artefacts Mastering studio and master all Stroboscopic Artefacts releases.
Abstract and esoteric philosophical concepts have been integral to Dadub's approach, so it comes as no surprise that Antezza has similar sorts of ideas in mind with Inner8, a name that references both personal reflection and (in the number 8) the symbol for infinity. A press release for the album promises "a heady mix of both contemplation and action" that's "not beholden to any specific 'dance' genre."
