Throughout this season of The Voice, Australia watched as 16-year-old Ellie Drennan transformed from schoolgirl to songstress.

Last night, she was crowned the winner of the show's fourth season.

Ellie Drennan is an Australian singer-songwriter who rose to fame after being proclaimed winner of the fourth edition of the talent show The Voice Australia on August 30th.

The singer with a great soulful voice wins with the original song “Ghost” which was released on digital retailers right after the show.

She was part of Jessie J’s team and becomes the third girl to win the competition after Anja Nissen and Karise Eden. This year’s runner-up has been Joe Moore and his song “Invincible“.
