Snarky Puppy - Tell Your Friends (2010) 320 Kbps

I first discovered the Pup's music in 2008 when I purchased their fine disc "The World Is Getting Smaller." I was really knocked out, not only by the compositions, arrangements and performances on that record, but by the balance of challenging musical ideas and fun accessibility (read groove). My only slight quibble was that it sounded a little sterile sonically. Their next release, "Bring Us The Bright," also had many fine moments and upped the ante sound-wise, but I never realized what was missing until the release of this 2010's "Tell Your Friends."
