Disturbia” may be from the duo behind internationally acclaimed Am Tierpark but do not expect easy listening nor any light at the end of the tunnel.

“Disturbia” was born out of an idea about kicking up the complexity and power of the sound of Mirland (Mirland, Am Tierpark, Holm/Mirland) and just see where it would take itself. Claus Larsen (Leather Strip, Klutae, Am Tierpark) soon joined the project for vocals and lyrics and an album was recorded.

The sound positions “Disturbia” somewhere between industrial and urban genres with Claus Larsen taking his famous voice far into new territory with an almost whispering growl at times manipulated and filtered on top of high octane beats often in ranges above 150BPM and Mirland’s detailed sound design.

Large parts of the album works for the dance floor. Tracks like “Memories” “Their World” and “Insomnia” are sure to whip up an intense atmosphere while “Hurt Machine”, “Berlin Bill” and “Destroy Everything” are ear worms just waiting to invade your mind.
