Pachyderm - VERGE (2018)

The Verge is a transitional space, a time in between times. It’s between what’s real and what’s imagined, before beginnings and after ends. This album is our attempt to channel the Verge, to let all the uncertainty, hope, regret, love, and confusion flow through our music. These ten songs detail time we spent in the Verge over the last year; the encounters we had, the things we learned, the things we lost. There’s heartache which insists on lingering, new friends becoming old friends, friendships fading away, good nights that you wish would never end, and bad ones that feel like forever. At the end of the journey, we cross beyond the threshold and leave the Verge behind, but everyone inevitably returns from time to time.
