Eye Make The Horizon - Instant Flash (2018) [Hi-Res]

Eye Make The Horizon from Stockholm, Sweden started in 2015, but the roots are a lot deeper. Axelsson and Tuominen met in 1992 and have been in zillions of bands and projects together since then including cult psych outfit Kungens Män. In the end of the nineties they met Nygren in the free improv scene of Stockholm and played with him occasionally over the years. After many years the trio decided to form real band, hence Eye Make The Horizon. In 2016 they met double bass player Dimming and invited him for a jam, which led to the expansion of Eye Make The Horizon into a quartet.

Drawing inspiration from jazz, noise, rock and various experimental music, the band creates a personal sound that ranges from the atmospheric and lyrical to the harsh and angular, yet always dynamic and rhythmically inventive. Jazzy drums and double bass in a sweet collision with two quite rowdy Fender Jazzmasters make the backbone for deep excursions in poetic noise.

Eye Make The Horizon have previously released four digital albums and played live mostly in Stockholm. A European tour is currently being planned to take place in November 2018.

'Instant Flash' on Eggs in Aspic is the first physical release by the band.
