Sua Galera - Sua Galera (2026) [Hi-Res]

In Dortmund, in the heart of the multicultural Ruhr region, nine musicians who met on the local jazz scene formed Sua Galera, a name meaning “your crew” in Portuguese. The group is led by keyboardist and producer Eskil Bauer. Its international character is audible in the sound: vocalists of Brazilian and Moroccan background take the front, and the project naturally fuses different cultural traditions.

The debut album of eight tracks, released on the Cosmic Romance label, moves between Brazilian funk and Mediterranean grooves, filtered through the studio production aesthetics of the 1970s and 1980s. It was recorded over countless nights, both in the studio and immersed in live music culture, so the record preserves the spontaneity and chemistry of a band grown from friendship and a shared love of groove-driven music. It is soulful, rhythm-forward, emotionally rich music designed for DJs and listeners alike. It will be released on October 30 on vinyl and in digital formats.
