Schola Solensis - Psallat Ecclesia (2011) [HDTracks]

Schola Solensis was founded in 1995, in connection with the re-erection of the medieval church at Sola. The cantor is Halvor J. Østtveit. Schola Solensis sings Gregorian chant, and collects its repertory both from the core of the Roman liturgy and from rare Norwegian and Icelandic sources. Since 1995 Schola Solensis has participated in numerous festivals, and gives concerts on a regular basis, mainly in the medieval church at Sola and the monastery at Utstein.
