Skicki-Skiuk - Chrarumimia (2018)

Skicki-Skiuk's debut album is a refreshing portion of jazz unveiling and melting band members’ diverse backgrounds and approaches to music. This is the future of Polish jazz. They are playing as a team, they are not afraid of rock solos and they give it all with humor and energy. Skicki-Skiuk is not a jazz project, it’s a band and its members are working together more like a rock musicians. Their stage energy & team spirit is loved by audience and emphasized in all concert reviews. After winning Grand Prix of Jazz nad Odra Festival they were invited by Leszek Możdźer to record their debut album "Chrarumimia" blending jazz, rock, blues and some surprises. They don't like comparisons to other musicians, rather see themselves as Power Rangers - each of them is a powerful musician, but only together they are able to transform into an unstoppable Jazz Megazord...This concept of "togetherness" is reflected in the name of the band: Skicki-Skiuk is simply last syllables of their surnames put together
