Contrary to the title's claim, this is not "the very best Little River Band album ever" (believe me, I'm as sick of writing that snide joke as you are reading it), but this Holland-only collection still has the bulk of the group's great songs and big hits - and points must be awarded for not substituting live versions of "Reminiscing" and "Help Is On Its Way," but for featuring both the live versions and the originals. The sequencing leaves something to be desired and the 2000 expanded version of their greatest hits is overall a better bet, since it has better sound, better selection and liner notes, but if this can be found at a good price, it's not a bad substitution.
