Tom Beek Quintet - Conversations (Live at the North Sea Jazz Festival) (2018) Hi Res

A few weeks ago I received - between the soup and the fries, as they say so beautifully - the recording of a live concert from my own band, the Tom Beek Quintet, during the North Sea Jazz Festival (2006). I was pleasantly surprised. It is played fresh and energetic. Technically, the recording was also excellent. Marcel Serierse has mastered it. Old cake, you say? I understand. I see it as a beautiful document by five musicians who are daring, who challenge each other continuously. That's why I called it Conversations. And decided to release it as an album.
