The New Zeitgeist - Myths and Mortals (2018)

This comes out of nowhere and is pretty amazing -- a strange throwback to great English folk-rock albums from the late 60s or 70s when these two weren't even around. The songs are excellent, the playing is excellent, the singing is excellent, the production is excellent -- there's not one duff track. Oh, and Jen Reilly is an astounding singer. (Full disclosure: I know these two a little from the Chicago folk scene, and they're both as sweet as hell and very good. But I never thought I'd hear a record like this again, from them or anyone else for that matter.)
