Some years later Tony Vega Band was founded in late 1997. Countless tours, a handful of awards, glowing press recognition, and four Cd's later - Red Onion Records releases Tony Vega Band's fifth Cd (second for Red Onion) to date, "Dog Gone Shame." It's the band's richest, most powerful work to date. Eight of the ten tracks were written by Vega.
