for the true blues fanatic, it's a rarity when a new cd comes along that truly contains nothing but the blues, no accommodating done here for the purpose of "getting the mainstream....." blues fan to listen. This is a collection of unadulterated first class blues, played by the best there is. Harp fans will recognize Kim Wilson, but the boss here is Al Blake. The likes of Eli Fletcher and Jr. Watson handle guitar as well as anybody on the seen today. Lookout for Eli, Al thinks he is the best young talent in 50 yrs.!!!! Richard Innes has no peer and the same for Larry Taylor, and Fred Kaplan. This is blues for purist and boy is it pure!!! Help get this great music played more. Demand the best. This is it o'man
